Sherman Inn

Stayed here for close to 6 months, mostly being in room 144. All staff members we're very friendly and attentive to my needs. I can say however ownership underappreciates their worth. Overworked and underpaid they try their hardest to keep this property safe and clean. Special thanks to Kevin and Denise who are the glue that keeps this property together.

I stayed here this last weekend for a wedding I was going to 30 minutes away from my hotel. It was an ok experience but the room was alittle dirty and had to kill a couple of bugs in my room but other than that it was a very nice stay employees were sweet as well the other thing I ask is that housekeeping not barge into the room when the door is locked cause they did scare me alittle Saturday morning when I was unaware of them being outside my room.

I needed a safe affordable place to stay. I stayed for two nights. This place is a nice place. Id go back if ever needed to if i wanted to save money. The room was clean. They had clean pinon and towels. The staff was very professional. The TV was nice and had cable. The wifi was usable. The walls are very thin. So you can hear whats going on out side and in the other room. People live there but they keep they keep to their self. The room is not like 5 star. more like 3.5 only cause of a few flaws in the room. Like it was dried paint on the floor and thee ceiling over the shower was had pealing paint. I checked the bed for bed bugs and they where no signs. The room have a refrigerator and a microwave. They came in very handy. I felt safe and it was people on a budget like me. Its very close to places to eat and access stores. It was not far from my location i needed to get to. I was taking a two day motorcycle coarse a few hours from my house doing rush times. look this is a place for the average person to stay. I could have afforded a better hotel but I was willing to over look a few things for the price. The room was spotless. It was not home but i felt safe and rested. Nothing worn with staying there; staff was kind and professional.

My boyfriend and i tragically lost our home bc of flooding. It was too expensive to repair everything so we booked a room a the Sherman Inn until we could save and start over. The staff here was amazing! All the way from Denise, the manager, to Kevin, head of maintenance. Rooms were clean and made our stay headache free. I'm so grateful to them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I lived here for a few years, and the owners do not appreciate the employees they have. It was always clean, safe, and secure. If there was ever an issue, Denise would solve it. It helped the transitional period having someone that cared about the people around. Anyone who stays here for any amount of time can sense the community here. It's like a massive family. I owe this place and Denise the world. It's close to everything you may need, there's a laundry room, and the takeout options? Immaculate. I highly suggest it, I wouldnt stay anywhere else.

I'm a single older woman with a very limited budget. I find staying here is very safe for me, as I've stayed in, the quote unquote- the fancier hotels, and never felt safe. Here I do. Denise, at the front desk is fabulous and always going the extra mile for all of us. Kevin the maintenance guy does his very best to fix/repair everything. Both of these people are simply wonderful. Don't ever loose them as they are the glue for this place.

Denise is a very professional and kind manager. Always had mail and treats for my dogs. The office help are very friendly. I enjoyed my month long stay. Housekeeping was very helpful and made sure my room was stocked. I did have a few issues that were addressed quickly. I will continue to stay here while I look for my permanent home.

I have to be honest the price was okay, but the rooms definitely need some work, people had stuff written and the room was way to big and empty felt lonely even with my partner being there. I'm sorry.. but I'd only recommend staying 1 night or longer if wanted/needed.
